Disabling geo-replication

Admin panel

1. On the primary cluster, go to Storage services > Backup storage > Geo-replication, and then click Disable replication.

   

2. Remove the secondary cluster from the geo-replication configuration by gracefully releasing all of its nodes from the backup storage.

Command-line interface

1. Disable geo-replication on the primary cluster by running vinfra service backup geo-replication master disable. For example:

   # vinfra service backup geo-replication master disable

2. Remove the secondary cluster from the geo-replication configuration by gracefully releasing all of its nodes from the backup storage.
