PrlDispCfg_SetMaxVmMem Function

Allows to set the maximum memory size that can be allocated to an individual virtual machine.

Parameters

hDispConfig

A handle of type PHT_DISP_CONFIG.

nMemSize

The new memory size (in megabytes).

Returns

PRL_RESULT. Possible values:

PRL_ERR_INVALID_ARG - invalid handle.

PRL_ERR_SUCCESS - function completed successfully.

Remarks

By default, virtual machine memory limits are calculated automatically. If needed, you can set your own maximum memory limit using this function. Please note that the new value must not exceed the size of the memory reserved for Virtuozzo Service, which can be obtained using the PrlDispCfg_GetReservedMemLimit function. The actual memory size for a virtual machine is set when configuring it and will be validated against the value set here.
