PrlEvent_GetDataPtr Function

Clients can use this method to receive a data buffer specific to the event type.

Syntax

PRL_RESULT PrlEvent_GetDataPtr(
    PRL_HANDLE hEvent, 
    PRL_VOID_PTR_PTR data_ptr
);

hEvent

A handle of type PHT_EVENT identifying the event.

data_ptr

[out] A pointer to the event-specific data.

PRL_RESULT. Possible values:

PRL_ERR_INVALID_ARG - invalid handle or null pointer was passed.

PRL_ERR_SUCCESS - function completed successfully.

Different event types may provide different data buffers or they may provide none.
