1. Overview

This update provides new features, as well as bug fixes and improvements.

2. New Features

  • [Compute service] Support for virtual GPU devices inside virtual machines. In this release, we support only NVIDIA GPU cards.

  • [Object storage] Added new metrics for advanced monitoring to integrated Prometheus: S3 bucket size and S3 user space consumption.

3. Bug Fixes

  • Fixed the false-positive alert “MN backup does not exist.” (VSTOR-48360)

  • After a power failure of all nodes in the high availability cluster, the virtual IP address may be unset. (VSTOR-48337)

  • Creating a VLAN interface over another VLAN interface should be disabled. (VSTOR-48287)

  • Cannot promote the secondary backup storage to primary in a geo-replication configuration in the admin panel. (VSTOR-48269)

  • A storage policy may not be applied to compute volumes. (VSTOR-48051)

  • In some cases, backups may consume additional storage space because archive garbage is not collected. (VSTOR-48012)

  • After an update from version 4.6 to 4.7, some actions may fail with the error “Failed to verify the account server API version.” (VSTOR-47782)

  • Fixed high availability for load balancers. (VSTOR-47760)

  • Fixed the false-positive alert “A CS service has too big journal” when the storage service is located on an HDD drive. (VSTOR-47723)

  • If an S3 cluster is misconfigured, the I/O activity charts in the admin panel may have gaps due to a slow metric collection. (VSTOR-47651)

  • Incorrect usage is reported for a system disk in case of software RAID1. (VSTOR-47346)

  • Backup Gateway accepts revoked certificates. (VSTOR-47253)

  • Failed to migrate a virtual machine if its disk has a snapshot with checkpoints. (VSTOR-47273)

  • Cannot create a project in the admin panel if a storage policy name includes a colon. (VSTOR-47242)

  • Incorrect eligibility checks were performed for an update that does not require a reboot. (VSTOR-47128)

  • Fixed a problem with the configuration of Intel SR-IOV network adapters for PCI passthrough. (VSTOR-48460)

4. Installing the Update

You can install the update in the SETTINGS > UPDATE section of the admin panel. A reboot is not required.
