This update provides security, stability, and performance fixes.

2. Important Notes

  • In this update, Ubuntu 16.04 becomes deprecated and is no longer supported as a guest operating system.

3. Bug Fixes

  • Network and disk information is missing in hci_info.disks due to a race. (VSTOR-88709)

  • VMs are in the shutoff state after upgrading the libvirt package. (VSTOR-89823)

  • An improvement in the QEMU log rotation. (VSTOR-90644)

  • Added new metrics for the compute service. (VSTOR-90912)

  • Unable to delete a Kubernetes cluster after manually deleting its worker VM and volume. (VSTOR-91070)

  • Filtering VMs by ID does not work. (VSTOR-91209)

  • Fixed buffer processing for S3 POST bucket uploads. (VSTOR-91448)

  • VM creation fails due to the DHCP connectivity checker issues. (VSTOR-91706)

  • The S3 account control service may crash after deleting an S3 user and its account. (VSTOR-91718)

  • Fixed an issue with ploop overflow that may lead to corruption of images larger than 5 TB. (VSTOR-92189)

  • Boosted replication priority for failed chunk services. (VSTOR-92420)

  • Unsuccessfully deleted VMs trigger the alerts “Attachment details mismatch” and “State of virtual machine mismatch.” (VSTOR-92564)

  • The port checker reports only one DHCP reply instead of two. (VSTOR-92748)

  • Deleting a VM during its creation may cause the VM to get stuck in the “Build” status. (VSTOR-92772)

  • The vstorage-mount process may use swap intensively resulting in the I/O slowdown. (VSTOR-92776)

4. Installing the Update

You can update Virtuozzo Hybrid Infrastructure in the SETTINGS > UPDATES section of the admin panel. Placing nodes in the maintenance mode is required to obtain this update.
