Virtuozzo ReadyKernel patch 132.0 for Virtuozzo Hybrid Server 7.5¶

1. Overview¶

The cumulative Virtuozzo ReadyKernel patch was updated with a stability fix. The patch applies to the kernels 3.10.0-1160.21.1.vz7.174.13 (Virtuozzo Hybrid Server 7.5 Update 1).

2. Bug Fixes¶

• Memory leak happened in socket(2) if allocation of a file descriptor failed. It was discovered that lldpad consumed lots of kernel memory. The kernel memory used for the sockets it created was never released in case of certain errors. (PSBM-133610)

3. Installing the Update¶

Download, install, and immediately apply the patch to the current kernel by running ‘readykernel update’.
