Virtuozzo Hybrid Server 7.5 Update 5 Hotfix 2 (7.5.5-291)¶

1. Overview¶

The Hotfix 2 for Virtuozzo Hybrid Server 7.5 Update 5 provides stability and usability bug fixes.

2. New Features¶

• Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 EZ templates in containers. (PSBM-149627)

• Ability to turn off backup compression and connection tunneling globally for a Virtuozzo Hybrid Server node. (PSBM-150379)

3. Bug Fixes¶

• When running the ‘vzpkg install template’ command, the system could install the log4j.jar file and treat its content as a security risk. (PSBM-149314)

• Some counters used for network monitoring and billing in ‘/proc/net/dev’ could show inaccurate values. (PSBM-150027)

• After upgrading to Virtuozzo Hybrid Server 7.5 Update 5 Hotfix 1, a remote backup for a container could not be created from a regular non-privileged user. (PSBM-150833)

4. Important Notes¶

• End of support for Debian 8.x and Debian 9.x used in containers and virtual machines. (PSBM-149717)

Install the update with yum update.
