Virtuozzo Automator 7.0 Update 2 Hotfix 17 (VA MN 7.0.2-720, VA Agent 7.0.2-432)¶

1. Overview¶

The Hotfix 17 for Virtuozzo Automator 7.0.2 provides a new configuration option to control the use of ADH ciphers to enhance security.

2. New Feature¶

• Introduced a configuration option to control the use of ADH ciphers, thereby addressing the CVE-2007-1858 vulnerability and helping prevent the use of insecure cipher suites—such as anonymous ciphers—that could allow remote attackers to access sensitive information or cause other unspecified impacts. 3. Installing the Update¶

1. Back up the VA MN server before updating. Considering security fixes, we recommend updating VA MN by running yum update.

2. Update VA Agent by running yum update or yum groupupdate "VA Agent" on each node.

Note

To apply new configuration options, update the vzagent.conf file and restart the relevant services. To avoid restarting services twice, add the new option to vzagent.conf before running the yum update command. This ensures that service restarts triggered by yum will apply the updated configuration automatically.
